Salt + Clay is a Black woman-owned wellness company dedicated to creating handcrafted bath, body, and hair care products inspired by the healing traditions of the African diaspora. Rooted in ancestral knowledge, cultural practices, and time-honored recipes, each product is intentionally crafted to nourish the body while honoring the wisdom passed down through generations.

Founded by a passionate genealogist, Salt + Clay bridges the connection between heritage and holistic wellness. Our mission is to preserve and celebrate African, African American, and Afro-Caribbean traditions by transforming historical practices into modern self-care experiences. We believe that caring for ourselves is an act of remembrance, resilience, and empowerment.

Each of our products are infused with natural butters, essential oils, and fragrance oils that enhance wellness to both skin, hair, and chakras. Orders can be created to custom, which ignites the beauty of involving the client homing in on their intimate healing necessity.
